Two Vintage Tudors Worth A Look: While Not Really Rolexes
As many of you probably know, Tudor is a subsidiary of Rolex who sells watches on the theme of even slightly less than the price of a Rolex. They are certainly not a Rolex, but they are still very solid timepiece. Rolex case and crowns and a large part of this Rolex finishing but with modified highly movements ETA are adjusted to Rolex spec... for us, seems fairly well. The only difference is the ETA vs Rolex movement and the name on the face. They have been absent from the stage to the United States for some time but their new Grantour watch is a stunner, and it is also the official watch of Porsche Motorsport... not bad right?

Muhle Glashutte Rasmus 2000 Dive Watch
Are you like me and love top-quality German dive watches with a no-nonsense attitude? Brands like Sinn, UTS, and of course Muhle Glashutte? If you do then I have a feeling you are going to enjoy the Rasmus 2000 collection of uber divers from our friends up in Glashutte. Pay no mind to the fact that the guys who designed this watch live in the cold mountains of Saxony, pretty far from any oceans. Further, a term you see on many of their watches is "Nautische Instrumente," which obviously is "nautical instrument." The Rasmus 2000 is just one of many ocean-worthy watches from the brand, a
Bremont Supermarine 500 Dive Watch
Back at Baselworld last month I was really excited about seeing one particular timepiece - the Bremont Supermarine 500. When I first learned about the watch sometime ago, I wrote about the Supermarine 500 here, exclaiming that it was the watch that helped me pay attention to the new British brand. The attractive 500 meter water resistant dive watch with a vintage inspired design based on an old seaplane looked like a must have - but I needed to see it in the flesh. As I walked in the room to meet with Bremont. I felt as though I basically mumbled hello with my eye looking past the peop
Piaget Polo FortyFive Chronograph Watch + Video
Here is the beautiful and uncommonly sporty new Polo Chronograph from Piaget that debuted at SIHH this year. What I really like is this video from TheTimeTv that has Piaget themselves casually discuss the watch. I love hearing that smooth French accent discuss this fine offering, from a fine watch company. Interestingly enough their primary focus, is my primary focus: ease of life with the watch. They aren't going on about the luxury of the watch, but rather the functions, comfort and overall quality. It is really refreshing to hear that (especially from Piaget) that them going on
