Omega Speedmaster X-33 Skywalker Watch
This is the new Omega X-33 that we have been waiting for. Our hands-on time with the 2014 Omega Speedmaster X-33 Skywalker ref. 318.90.45.79.01.001 proves that this is the real heir to the cult favorite Omega X-33 aviation/aerospace watch of the 1990s. What about the Omega Speedmaster Z-33 (hands-on review here)? Christophe Claret X-Trem-1 Chocolate Watch
You know what tastes better than chocolate? Luxury chocolate. Oh, we like our sweets dressed up, for sure. Hershey's? No way, give us something imported from France and tell us they ship regularly to the doors of presidents and prime ministers everywhere. So what is better than a brown watch? An over $300,000 "chocolate" watch from the secret watch workshops of Christophe Claret (imported from Switzerland!).For 2014, Christophe Claret quietly releases a new version of the X-Trem-1 watch, known as the Christophe Claret X-Trem-1 Chocolate. This new color version of the interesting ultra

"UTTE" stands for "ultra thin tourbillon escapement," and it certainly is. Arnold & Son narrowly beat Piaget to production of the thinnest tourbillon ever. Being the most thin isn't really that important to us. What is important is that the watch is very wearable, and very attractive. At Baselworld 2013 we got a nice hands-on
Longines Conquest GMT Watch Review
This is the Longines?Conquest GMT, reference L3.687.4.566. At first glance, it looks like one of many GMTs bearing the ETA 2893 movement, but then you notice that date window. Look at where it is on the dial, all the way at the right edge (so this is something different):That tells you the size of the movement matches the dial, and this watch has a 34mm dial. The 2893 is 11.5 ligne, or about 25mm. Once you start looking, you'll notice that most large watches have a date window more towards the center, because the movement is too small. Pet peeve of mine. This one, on the other
