Why Aren't Mechanical Watches More Advanced? - Ask Watch Experts Questions About Watches
Nikoloz K. from Moscow, Russia asks:Dear aBlogtoWatch! (in fact i like aBlogtoRead more, but i guess it suits the content better)… What might be a reason that mechanical watches have not developed much, if any, in terms of replacing the balance wheel? There are numerous watch complications but the balance wheel escapement concept remains the same. I mean what could be harder to invent and produce then a minute repeater but still no replacement for balance wheel mechanism. Bremont Boeing Model 1 Watch Hands On
After announcing a partnership with Boeing earlier this year, Bremont has released the first wave of products born of this new connection with the famed aviation manufacturer. The new Boeing line is comprised of two models with an eventual total of eight versions, spanning the three hand Model 1 and the Model 247?chronograph. Cvstos Challenge-R 50 Chronograph Watch Available On James List

This Challenge-R 50 Chronograph watch has some things to admire, and areas to make fun of. What is interesting is that most of these watches are available for half price online. The Cvstos Challenge-R (get it, "challenger") 50 Chronograph watch is nice overall. Perhaps not their mo
Gc Sport Class XL Watch
Does anything about this watch look familiar? It should if you follow Zenith watches at all. This is Gc's rendition of the Zenith Defy X-treme watches. Frankly, I think the Gc does it a bit better, especially on the price side. I am sorry, the Zenith Defy X-treme watches are cool, but so NOT $20,000 grand plus cool. Those are just a long toss into depreciation alley. While the Gc Sport Class XL watch is not without its issues (starting with the name), it is a nice looking watch, and I'd be proud to sport it.Gc (Guess Collection) is the Guess company's watch brand. Though when I look a
