TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre CH 80 Watch: Return To The 1960s Classic
Learning that TAG Heuer will produce this new Carrera Calibre CH 80 watch for 2014 feels a bit vindicating. When you do what I do for as long as I've done so, it should be the case that you are able to correctly predict what timepiece a brand will produce, at least once in a while. So this modern version of the Carrera, which in a big way is an homage to the original from the early 1960s with their new in-house movement is just that¡§C a timepiece I wanted them to make and predicted would come very soon. One thing you have to know about independent watchmakers is that the watches they produce are as rare as hen?¡¥s teeth. Only a small number can be made per year. To have a completed watch available sitting around is something that realistically only happens for a few days a year at any one time. The truth is that completed watches go out the door to eager and waiting clients as soon as they are finished and ready.Seeing the One Hertz therefore necessitated some amount of
Virtual Ideas Toxic Linear Time Watch Concept
With linear time indicators that resemble syringes, the "Toxic" watch concept creation by Swiss Virtual Ideas is another neat idea by the watch design firm. Showing time on linear scales means that an indicator moves across a scale and then jumps back once it reaches the end. Look closely and you can see a telescopic arm that moves across the dial with a red strip for the indicator. It moves like a vial filling up or emptying at the arm extends and pushes in the indicator. It would have been cool for it too look like one side of the indicator was filling with a colored liquid. The tele
