Blancpain is a really, really interesting exercise mark
This is a really, really interesting exercise marks - and I don't know if it is a good idea. Frederic Piguet is (I mean, was) manufacturer of the Swatch Group high-end movement. Kind of like a version plue ETA. Most of the end of the Swatch Group brands used the movements of Frederic Piguet (range brands include Breguet, Jaquet Droz, Blancpain etc....). It is not to say that Frédéric Piguet made all the movements of these marks, but many of them.
GIVEAWAY: Wryst Airborne Watch
Limited to just 75 pieces total, the Wryst Airborne FW3 is one of those modern-looking sport watches designed with passion and destined to evoke pleasure (or the opposite) in the eye of the beholder. Modern timepiece design is all about polarization, when historically it was about conservatism. I talked about it first here on Centurion.I covered the Antoine Martin Perpetual Calendar watch in d

So begins a series of articles that will appear both here and on Luxist chronicling the many lessons I learned, and splendors I witnessed as a guest of luxury German watch poster child, A. Lange & S?hne. To help all of you, I am going to first assist you with the pronunciation of the brand name, which I only recently mastered. Phonetically, it is ?¡ãAh Lhangeh und Zoneh.?¡À For convenience, I am going to leave out the umlaut over the "o" in "S?hne," but it should be there. What elevates Lange watches to the highest levels of luxury is the fact that they design and manufacture their
