Orient M-Force SEL03001D Diver Watch Review
One of my favorite divers in my collection is an Orient CFD0C001B Saturation Diver. I reviewed it here. While it has quirks, the big beefy diver has a great look with a useful dial and a fantastically adjustable bracelet. I still love wearing it today. As far as I know it is one of Orient's most expensive watches and certainly at the top of their diver collection. This M-Force Diver model is more modern, but considered a mid-range model between the more pricey Saturation Diver and Orient's lower-end offerings. My love of interesting Japanese watches is greatly enhanced by my love of Japanese anime and related Japanese pop culture. Many people who design Japanese watches are likewise influenced by such media, so it is inevitable that once in a while the brass at the top will allow them to release watches with a techno-cool vibe from a very well established brand such as Citizen. This watch will likely never see the light of day officially in the US, but it is going to be offered as a limited edition of 500 pieces (250 pieces of each style) in Japan (and maybe a few places around there). Handling The Linde Werdelin Oktopus and SpidoLite Yellow Watches
I wanted to share these two watches that I got to check out with you all. Linde Werdelin first wants me to remind you that these are prototype watches. So the final ones will be of nicer quality, and perhaps a bitdifferent. What you see before you are the Linde Werdelin SpidoLite with a yellow tinted sapphire crystal, and black toned titanium. The black color is there because it is coated with diamond like carbon (DLC) - super hand and super cool! New patinated dial and handsTwo news items from watch maker ochs und junior - a new moonphase look and a sweeping rename of the models. Since it's brief, we will deal with the rename first. Previously, their watches had evocative names like 'Selene' for moon phase, which probably caused confusion. The line is now renamed according to what they're calling 'time horizons.'Very prosaic and practical. Should make it easier to shop their collection.The other news is the new dial on the moon phase, seen above. The new dial is brass, patinated using a sculpture restoration technique
