Greubel Forsey GMT Watch In Platinum
For 2014, the Swiss watch maker Greubel Forsey has released this new version of their humbly named GMT timepiece, in platinum with a black-toned dial. The tendency is often for brands to title their most expensive watches lavishly. Like aristocratic indicators of old, it is almost surprising that this timepiece with its intense level of luxurious finishing and a price that is well north of half a millions dollars has a name comprised of just three letters. At 43.50mm wide with a case that is... mostly round in platinum, the GMT is a serious statement on the wrist. In fact, all Greubel
Casio G-Shock GA200RG Watch Review
Part of Casio's 30th anniversary of the G-Shock celebration has been to release a stream of G-Shock and Baby-G models in black and rose gold tones. Pretty fancy for the world's ultimate beater watch right? This large analog/digital piece is the G-Shock GA200RG, aka GA200RG-1A. "High-end" having the association that they are perhaps well-made, use expensive materials, are exclusive, and cost a lot. You know... "luxury." What cheapens many of these brand
Citizen Promaster Split Second Timer SST 1/1000 Of A Second Race Chronograph Watch: Reason That Electronic Is Best For Timing
I read a lot about new advancements in mechanical watch timing technology. Stopwatches are chronographs, and come in probably 100 different forms. In my opinion the two most important aspects of a chronograph function is how long it times for, and in what increments. Most high-end mechanical chronographs measures increments of 1/8th of a second. Not bad, but they are hard to read for precision, and you'll certainly pay for the privilege. Add in such complications as split-second chronographs, and flyback mechanisms, and you get very complicated and outrageously priced timing tools. Fun
