Linde Werdelin Oktopus II Watch Review
For months now I found myself putting the Linde Werdelin Oktopus II Titanium Yellow Double Date watch on my wrist more times than I would have first anticipated. With its avocado green strap and bold sporty looks, I always liked the watch but guessed that it would settle in to be more of a 'once-in-a-while' piece. The limited edition dive watch from the 'alternative' UK sports watch brand really proved me wrong. The charming boutique character and good looking case along with dial legibility ended up sealing the deal that it was a watch to wear all the time. By the way, in this post we
SalonQP Watch Show: 2012 Report
By Adi SoonThe recent SalonQP in London was certainly an eye-opening experience for me being a first time watch exhibition attendee. I had high expectations of going to this event and in many ways I wasn't disappointed.Unlike Baselworld where new products are announced and launched, the SalonQP in London functions more as an opportunity for the brands to interface with their potential customers in a plush, cosy environment. From the start this timepiece was meant to honor MB&F founder Max Busser's love of airplanes with two engine style pods for the time and power reserve indicator. These limited edition models are a more retro take on the
Bremont B-1 Marine Clock
Check out the first working version of Bremont's highly anticipated Marine Clock (model B-1). While this still an unfinished prototype, we can see just how close to the concept Bremont was actually able to make the clock look in reality. There are still some things to complete. For example this version doesn't yet have working knobs to control the clock or adjust the times. You'll also see a lack of detachable winch style winding stem that is still in development. But the clock is more or less done, and it is really a thing of beauty.I wrote about the Bremont Marine Clock previ
