Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch
We knew it was only a matter of time before some of the big names in the electronics industry dove into the burgeoning smartwatch category, and Samsung is the second of the big guys to announce, after Sony's SmartWatch 2, with their recently introduced Galaxy Gear smartwatch that debuted today. As you can guess from its name, the Galaxy Gear is part of Samsung's larger Galaxy lineup of mobile devices, and it shares some of the design language those other devices have. It also shares an operating system - the Galaxy Gear comes equipped with Android 4.3. A real draw are the ready-to-use,
Bathys Bomb Timer Watch
This is a working prototype of Bathys' upcoming Bomb Timer watch - and it is very cool. I want to make two things clear from the start. First, as I said, this is a prototype, and will undergo a few changes before production. This includes aspects of the case, dial, and movement finishing. The first few seconds of looking at the watch you'll be a bit distracted by the novel look. Then you'll appreciate just how usable the watch is. Really nothing that crazy about the design in terms o
Vacheron Constantin Returns To What It Is Good At With The Collection Excellence Platine Patrimony Double Retrograde Watch
Vacheron Constantin isn't good at everything, but they are good at a few things. One of those things is making effectively simple luxury watches. Getting too avant garde really isn't their thing. Releasing "modern" watches really isn't their thing either. In my opinion the newer Quai de l'Ile collection was a visual and logical disaster.Moving forward, Vacheron Constantin has been focusing a great deal on platinum watches. The expensive and hard to work with metal has been increasing in popularity, especially as many of the world's wealthy watch lovers are seeking more and more exclusi
