Experience of buying Chronoswiss watches
Although I have a watch Chronoswiss, is not the brand. It is mainly because I do not find Gerd. R. Lang (CEO, Chronoswiss) is a very friendly, based on my own experience (and their threats a few years ago, when I used to run a Chronoswiss forum) and others who have worked with him more closely. In any event, the fact is (imho), that watches nice.
JeanRichard 1681 Small Second Gold Watch
Most of you by now are familiar with JeanRichard's masculine and rugged looking sport watches such as the Terrascope or Aquascope. Those are pretty cool watches, but JeanRichard is also known for a softer side of more classically styled traditional watches. Currently, most of those exist in the 1681 collection.1681 watches come in round or cushion-style cases as seen here in the 1681 Small Second timepiece. It is actually the same size as the sportier Terracope or Aquascope ranges at a hefty 44mm wide. So if you prefer the sizable diameter of those pieces but want something a bit more
Omega Speedmaster Co-Axial Chronograph Titanium Blue Watch
Here we have one of my favorite chronographs from Baselworld this year. While it is certainly tough to beat Omega's stunning Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon, if you're looking for something a bit more under the radar while still offering the charm of a Moonwatch, it's going to be hard to deny the appeal of a titanium Omega Speedmaster Co-Axial Chronograph Moonwatch with a beautiful blue dial and Omega's excellent 9300 automatic co-axial chronograph movement.Don't get me wrong, I love a standard black-on-steel Moonwatch as much as the next guy, it's a classic that deserves to be both
Minuteman Watches: Military Style Built In The USA
The original idea behind Minuteman watches (quite appropriately named) was for the pieces to be assembled in the United States by disabled war veterans. It was a good idea, given that disabled veterans are a laudable group to work with/benefit, and it is a great goal to give even a few who are out of work, work. Minuteman tried to work with an organization that deals with disabled veterans, but it didn't work out. I think it was pretty nasty. Nevertheless, Minuteman did not want to abandon the idea of making watches here in the US. So the end result is that some portion of the sale of
Magellan 1521 Watch Review
Coincidentally I am writing this review while in Switzerland. The mecca for all things watch. Being here has helped me really understand the Magellan 1521 watch. One way to look at parts of Switzerland (especially the airport) is that it is like a huge mosaic for watch ads. Brands that you'd never think would have their own billboard are prominently displayed as though they were selling laundry detergent. And I don't think I saw one ad for a watch that would go for under $10,000. So how is all this relevant? Because as a maker of fine watches, what you really need to do is do somethin
