Glashutte Original Senator Sixties Panorama Date Watch
Several years ago,?Glashutte Original released a 1960s inspired watch called the Senator Sixties. It was controversial at the time, and personally I wasn't all that into it. My feelings probably hinged on the fact that it wasn't the type of watch I expected from the brand. Though after some revisions I've come around and find the most modern interpretation of the Senator Sixties (the Panorama Date) genuinely cool. It still isn't what I consider "classic Glashutte Original," but I genuinely like it.For me, the town of Glashutte, Germany is the epicenter of traditional function-focused
Girard-Perregaux Foudroyante Rattrapante Watch
This was one of the more interesting products I saw at SIHH 2012 and I don't even know if Girard-Perregaux is going to market it that much. The piece is sort of half-new, half-existing, but you can of course call it a new model. A few years ago Girard-Perregaux was one of the brands making Ferrari-branded timepieces. At the time they had a gold watch called the Scuderia Ferrari Foudroyante Rattrapante. The Ferrari name departs and the watch gets a totally new dial for 2012. I don't know how many of these watches will be around, but I really want one.The piece will be simply called the
Follow A. Lange & Sohne At SIHH In Real Time
Today I am at SIHH here in Geneva. But most of you are not. Too bad... As part of luxury watch brands further embracing the Internet, they are welcoming modern times by live blogging at the event. Lange & Sohne (the grail watch for many) will live blogging from SIHH 2010. To be honest I am not 100% sure what this will entail, but it believe it means sharing what is going on including images and new releases

Hublot King Power Knockout World Boxing Council Watch
Boxing seems to be the sport flavor of choice for many watch brands in 2012. You know it is serious when Hublot gets into the game. Their focus now is on a limited edition set for the World Boxing Council (WBC). The game Hublot is playing is pretty interesting actually. Hublot will produce 12 unique King Power "Knockout" WBC watches. As I understand it, each will look unique and be associated with one of 12 "legendary" boxers. Each of the watches will be auctioned off for charity, and the winners will get the watches presented to them by the boxers themselves. It would be more fun if i
