St. Petersburg based Russian watch maker Konstantin Chaykin is one of the independents that I watch closely. Their new watch for 2011 was the Lunokhod that I covered here. New this year from H. Moser & Cie is the high-end Moser Perpetual Moon watch. Perfect for people who love the look of H. Moser & Cie watches, and want a moon phase complication. Here the interesting stuff is in the fact that the moon phase indicator doesn't need to be adjusted for 1000 years, and that the watch has a small, centrally mounted 24 hour hand.
