Alpina Extreme Diver Watch Review
The Extreme Diver is a watch I am about to gush about. Not totally and?apologetically, but Alpina's very well-mannered timepiece is a product I am going to recommend without much hesitation. The sister brand of Geneva-based Frederique Constant, is doing a great job of offering a solid product at a reasonable price - which is for the most part a hallmark of the group. This isn't the first dive watch from the brand, and it won't be the last, but those hungry for a good looking "real watch" have a good option here.I recall the moment I saw the Extreme Diver for the first time in person.
Cabestan Trapezium Watch
Trapezium is a word that sounds both geometric and acrobatic. Does that mean it is both difficult to compute and perform? Yes. Those adjectives more than likely define this new watch by Cabestan well. The new Trapezium is an evolved version of their famous Winch Tourbillon Vertical watch and is the brainchild of Cabestan's own (and very talented) Eric Coudray.Among other things Coudray is the guy behind the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon. He thrives in producing highly complex, highly accurate tiny machines that few other people can make. Using the same principles as the Winch Tourbi
Quinting Mysterious Chronograph Watch Available On James List
What does it take for one to spend about $7,000 - $10,000 (or more) on a quartz chronograph watch? And I mean an educated watch lover who knows about movements and isn't just buying for looks? Is there such a watch? Maybe... and maybe it is something like this Quinting Mysterious Chronograph. Certainly a rare breed, Quinting is a Swiss brand that makes all quartz movements, I mean mysterious quartz movements. The Quinting Mysterious Chronograph is really of the more complicated watches that Quinting makes. The actual name of it is pretty strange as it is called the "Quint
My Favorite Ball Watches At JCK, Big And Lots Of Lume
Ball watches have been really popular that last few years ago and are probably the nicest watches (at least from a price perspective) to feature tritium gas tubes in their watches. All of their watches feature the wonder lume, that is made exclusively by MB Microtec in Switzerland. They are small tubes filled with (safe) radioactive material. Ball watches probably makes the best use out of them versus other companies I know to use the luminant. The best part is that they don't need any light to charge and glow for like 25 years.I am not going to go into much detail when
Omega Speedmaster Solar Impulse HB-SIA Watch
This is a watch that I could really see myself wanting - even though it has a carbon fiber dial that I tend to not always enjoy (though I did like it on my Tissot T-Touch Expert). Yes, this has been a month of many Omega watches, but they have had some interesting releases so they merit the attention. This is probably my favorite. I've often looked at the classic Omega Speedmaster Professional Moon Watch and thought, "yes it is cool, but I'd really like a modern version." Yes, it is true that my sentiment defeats the point of the "Moon Watch heritage," but I didn't really want to have
