Omega Speedmaster Date Yemen Watch
Why the Speedmaster Date "Yemen?" Well, Omega doesn't give it a special name, and the dial does bear the colors of the Yemen's flag - which is red, white, and black. So that is the nick name I have given it to differentiate it from the zillion other Speedmaster watches. I am discussing this Omega Speedmaster Date variant because I think it is a particularly handsome look - that reminds me of a combo of modern and retro design cues. And is it just me, or does this "theme" remind you a bit of the Rolex Paul Newman Daytona? The light toned white dial with black subdials real
Casio Pathfinder PAG-240-1 Watch Review
Somehow, I think that the watch designers at Casio enjoy their jobs.I've never met or spoken to one, but from seeing a succession of Casios over the years, and the relentless way that they keep improving, every single time, I have to think that they like what they do. As I understand it, each will look unique and be associated with one of 12 "legendary" boxers. Each of the watches will be auctioned off for charity, and the winners will get the watches presented to them by the boxers themselves. It would be more fun if i

Watch What-If: Omega Speedmaster
"Watch What-If" is a special column on that asks the playful question "what if an iconic watch you know and love was offered in a different style?" The idea embraces a good timepiece's core design and has fun by offering new colors and material concepts to stimulate your senses. These ideas may be provocative, artistic, or just plain silly. This is about fun, Photoshop, and the celebration of wrist watch design and experimentation. The original design we work off will always be at the bottom of the article. The designs are brought to life by Beau Hudspeth who does the a
