Piaget Emperador Coussin XL Ultra-Thin Minute Repeater Watch
The stand-out collector's (wealthy collector) Piaget watch for 2013 is the Emperador Coussin XL Ultra-Thin Minute Repeater (that we debuted here). In our previous article on the watch we discussed most of the technical specs and we won't repeat all of those here. This post is about hands-on with the slim and formal minute repeater - a continuation of Piaget's quest to offer as complete a family of ultra-thin watches as possible. At 48mm wide the cushion-style case isn't for everyone. It isn't for all Piaget fans either. Many of Piaget's most excellent watches are thin dress watches at
Omega Sedna Gold And Sochi Games Limited Edition Watches Announced Pre-Basel 2013
Omega?is clearly prepared for BaselWorld 2013 and has announced three new limited edition models in advance of the show, which takes place in April of this year. The most interesting part of the announcement is the debut of a new gold alloy they call "Sedna". Being comprised of at least 75% gold, Omega is claiming that this Swatch in-hous

The every-other-year event asked brands to "play the game" as they call it. Which entails brands offering totally unique watch creations donated to

John is in Iceland but we still manage to stay warm with watches. We discuss the innovating yet perhaps futile Urwerk EMC movement, and the easily lovable Seiko Prospex Tuna with the Spring Drive movement. HourTime Show Watch Podcast Episode 62
Back from Baselworld 2011, we discuss some of the show highlights (and quirks). On list is the Harry Winston Opus Eleven (that John loves), and a few other watches such as the Porsche Design P'6520 Compass Heritage and new Omega Speedmaster pieces (that John needs to be school about).Listen to the HourTime Show watch podcast episode 62 here.
