Swatch Sistem51 Under $200 Automatic Watch Now For Sale
The Swatch Sistem51 watch collection is finally out for sale (in some places). Are you excited? If you don't know what it is allow me to explain. At Baselworld 2013, the Swatch Group announced what is probably a major breakthrough in watchmaking; a new automatic mechanical movement that is completely assembled by machines and is priced around 100 - 200 Swiss Francs. We first covered the Swatch Sistem51 watch here upon its debut. We first thought the retail price was about $100 but then it turned out to be closer to $150. So we are simply saying between 100 - 200 Swiss Francs as we aren
Graham Chronofighter Prodive Watches
As a limited edition for 2012 Graham releases this new dive watch version of the Chronofighter called the Chronofighter Prodive Professional. Highlights include a bold design, monopusher chronograph and 600 meters of water resistance. One cool thing that Graham seems to suggest is that the chronograph can be used underwater. If this is true, then the watch does in fact set itself apart from most diving chronograph watches that would have their water resistance ratings compromised if their chronograph mechanisms were used while the watch was submerged.Graham calls the new Chronofighter
How To Use A Watch Bezel Slide Rule

In contrast, a tachymeter scale is hyperbolic and typically has numbers that run in from infinity down to sixty. Both slide rule and tachymeter watches use non-linear scales. Let's look a bit at a generic scale.NOTE - the images shown are a bit rough as they are not photographs of an actual circular slide rule. This
Storm Mekon Watch
I was waiting for someone to do this. It was only a matter of time before the watch world was able to release a budget version of the Corum Bridge watch. Storm UK was the one that did it. Of course this is not a replica or the same watch, but the concept is the same. A mechanical watch with a thin bridge-style movement in an otherwise empty and see-through dial. It certainly looks cool on the wrist.Let's be honest, you can't precisely compare a Corum with this Storm Mekon. While they exist in the same thematic family, this Storm will never replace a Corum in terms of pure horology. Wh
