Longines continues to release reissues of much of its classic watches
Longines continues to release reissues of much of its classic watches in my relevant case and update sizes, but maintains a style that is faithful to the original. Relinking 1955 silver arrow is the next of these watches.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Chronograph Watch
Jaeger-LeCoultre has been riding a wave of high praise in the wake of their SIHH announcements of vintage-inspired watches, such as the Tribute to Memovox Deep Sea of 2011 and the Tribute to Deep Sea Chronograph?from earlier this year. While we like tributes as much as the next guy, we really like it when a watch manufacturer, especially one as well-regarded as JLC, can dig deep and create something that stands on its own. Case in point, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Chronograph, a more modern and practical variation of the winning formula that gave birth to the Tribute to Deep Sea Chr
Marvin M112 Watch Review
The next Marvin watch I review and present to you is this interesting Model M112 watch. The retro roots of the brand and design are very evident here, but the modern elements of this watch are unmistakable. In writing this review I needed to metaphorically step back a few paces and review the Timex Classic Camper as though it were in a vacuum. I actually like the watch for what it is - a dead simply, sort of retro themed, basic timepiece. No frills, nothing fancy, and easily disposable if need be.
Watch What-If: Bell & Ross BR01 Heritage
"Watch What-If" is a special column on that asks the playful question "what if an iconic watch you know and love was offered in a different style?" The idea embraces a good timepiece's core design and has fun by offering new colors and material concepts to stimulate your senses. These ideas may be provocative, artistic, or just plain silly. This is about fun, Photoshop, and the celebration of wrist watch design and experimentation. The original design we work off will always be at the bottom of the article. The designs are brought to life by Beau Hudspeth who does the a
