Recent-ish Breguet watches UTS
The above shows is the most recent-ish watches UTS adventure power reserve. UTS is a hardcore tool watch in Germany, with a very dedicated team shop and a small volume of watches every year. It is rare that they release a completely new product, and for the world of Basel, it is all that they have done. Adventure power reserve does not really seem like any other thing in their line.
Citizen Eco-Drive Nova Concept Watch
Today?¡¥s Citizen watches are products that most people associate with light. This is thanks to the Japanese brand?¡¥s extremely successful Eco-Drive family of movements. Most Citizen watches you are likely to own these days contain one of these useful movements. The hallmark characteristic of an Eco-Drive movement is that they are solar powered. In reality, most any light will do. Eco-Drives are quartz movements that run on batteries, but batteries the owner does not need to replace. Inside each Eco-Drive movement is a rechargeable battery that Citizen says can be good for up to 30 years
Hublot Antikythera Calibre 2033-CH01 Watch Is A Re-Imagined Greek Masterpiece
One of the things I really appreciate about Hublot is that they don't do everything directly to sell watches. A lot of their events and projects are for charity or to further development in the horological world. Yes, of course, there is a branding element to each of these projects and it gets people write about the brand that might not otherwise cover a wrist watch story, but in the end it makes for a very dynamic Hublot.I recently joined Hublot for the official unveiling of the Antikythera movement that Mathias Buttet worked on making for the last several years. In French they call
Dwiss Emme Watch
Initially available for the Brazilian market, this "Emme" watch is from new brand Dwiss. Silly names I know, but it is a potentially inexpensive way to get a mechanical watch that pretty well resembles what a lot of people like in an Hublot or Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.The Emme collection is made up of a few colors and dials styles for a range of looks that aren't half bad. What I don't like however is that open date window - and Dwiss already knows that. The cases are 43mm wide and are made from 9 pieces with a lot screws. Those "side claws" appear to be loosely reminiscent of those
Edmond Pole Guardian Watches - Now With Bracelets!
A little over a year ago, Ariel showed you the Edmond Pole Guardian watch which features a very cool and rather unique AM/PM 24 hour dial complication using three rotating discs to align 24 hour time with a conventional 12 hour handset (video here). For those of you who weren't game on the rubber strap seen in the review, Edmond is now offering the?Pole Guardian with an optional bracelet and we think it nicely rounds out the design and makes for a more appealing overall package.Bumping up the rubber strap price from $1380 USD to $1540 USD, we definitely think the bracelet is w
