History
History almost 90 years, Gucci has counted among its most loyal customers many iconic musical artists, including Mary j. Blige, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Alicia Keys, Madonna, Rihanna, Ringo Starr, Rod Stewart, Barbra Streisand and Justin Timberlake. This new partnership stresses of Gucci's commitment to the preservation of art, and it is consistent with the relationship of five years of Gucci with a non-profit organization of Martin Scorsese, The Film Foundation, which led to the restoration of six films from classics to this day. This new initiative will support the programs of the Grammy Museum to preserve historically significant moments and the records of our musical heritage.
Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon NEDU Diver's Watch
Ball released an interesting new diver called the Engineer Hydrocarbon NEDU. The Navy Experimental Diving Unit (NEDU) is the branch of the American Navy that deals with the standards for operational diving and decompression rules for their divers. NEDU is actually the group responsible for establishing the decompression tables you may know from scuba training or, if you're like me, from the rubber strap that came fitted to a Citizen Aqualand diver. These decompression tables allow a diver to know how quickly to ascend, based on the duration and depth of their dive. Use these numbers co
How Is The iPhone 5 Like A Luxury Watch?
How is the iPhone 5 a lot like luxury watches? First, why compare the iPhone 5 to luxury watches? The iPhone has become the de facto phone of choice for people who can choose whatever phone they like. That doesn't necessarily mean they only have an iPhone, but it is uncommon to find consumers of high-end products who don't have an iPhone for daily use. Apple has succeeded where many others have not with a product that looks good t
Devon Tread 2 Watch
About two years ago the watch world was greeted with a strange announcement that Scott Devon was building a $15,000 (now a bit more expensive) electro-mechanical wrist watch in California. For the most part the Swiss and other Europeans dismissed the news and went on with their lives. Then the Tread 1 watch came out. It was totally novel in its design and engineering - and ended up not only getting a lot of attention, but also a few very prestigious awards. The quirky and super cool timing machine had a larger impact than anyone could have imagined - and now Devon has released a follow
My Timex Classic Camper Watch Article On AskMen
To be perfectly honest it is hard to write about a $35 watch after you have been writing about $35,000 watches. On the one hand, it is hard to be fair to the $35 watch, and on the other hand it is hard to make a case to the $35 watch market for a $35,000 watch that itself may just tell the time. In writing this review I needed to metaphorically step back a few paces and review the Timex Classic Camper as though it were in a vacuum. I actually like the watch for what it is - a dead simply, sort of retro themed, basic timepiece. No frills, nothing fancy, and easily disposable if need be.
