Watch Winner Review: UNIQ P-47 Chronograph
In April of 2014, aBlogtoWatch gave-away a UNIQ P-47 Chronograph watch. The lucky winner was Keith S. from Colorado and he was nice enough to follow-up with these pictures of the P-47 Chronograph watch on his wrist, along with an aBlogtoWatch watch winner review: I was obviously pretty thrilled to find out I was the winner of the UNIQ P-47 Thunderbolt watch giveaway a few weeks back. I never win anything! Ironically, my wife, daughter and I had just returned Memorial Day weekend from a wonderful vacation in Hawaii to find a package waiting from Tblisi, Georgia. In Hawaii we made time
Watch Winner Follow-Up: Egard Shade Black
Below is a watch winning reader review from Jesse S. of Los Angeles, regarding the Egard Shade Black timepiece that he won on aBlogtoWatch:As the winner of the October 2013 aBlogtoWatch giveaway, I can tell you the Egard Black Shade limited edition watch fits in well in the city of Los Angeles. Dress codes are a rarity in LA, however, being functional as well as stylish is still the name of the game. The Egard Black Shade watch beautifully captures both of these elusive qualities while working as an elegant dress watch or a casual sport piece.Founded and designed by Ilan Srulovicz, t
Memorigin Tourbillon Watches From Hong Kong
I wonder what you feel about the Chinese watch. When people hear "watch made in China," what is it that comes to mind? It is likely a combination of both positive and negative things. I think most people think of either inexpensively made mass produced watches, or counterfeit luxury goods. That would be an under-inclusive, yet accurate description of the goods that come out of China.China makes more than just that, especially today. The "high-end" segment of the Chinese watch industry is beginning to take a more impressive form thanks to volume and confidence. A few years ago I did a
Tag Heuer Formula 1 Grande Date Watch
I'll take this watch please. Literally I want to sign for it right now. I've always been a big fan of Tag Heuer Formula 1 watches, and this latest iteration goes right back to the simplistic good looks that made this line of timepieces so incredibly desirable for me. While the watch is considered part of Tag Heuer's entry level line, the quality of the watch has? been going up - to the point where, yes, it is more expensive, but all that much more desirable (still under $1000 though). For instance, the classic plastic bezel has been replaced with a titanium carbide-coated steel bezel.
Hublot F1 King Power Suzuka Watch
Since the Hublot F1 King Power as a watch is not new I will not going into detail about the technicalities. This is a new limited edition of 250 pieces (like all of them) for Japan's Suzuka race track released recently at 2011 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix. It has a cool skeletonized dial and ceramic disc brake-style bezel. The case is 48mm wide in zirconium (a lot like titanium). The neatest part are the predominantly white and red colors meant as an homage to the Japanese rising sun flag. See more articles about: Chronograph WatchesF1Formula 1King PowerWatch BrandsHublot
