Panerai Luminor 1950 PAM557 Destro 3 Days Watch: A Lefty PAM372
Panerai has debuted two new (retro designed) Luminor 1950 pieces at SIHH 2014. We have already looked at the monopusher chronograph here, and now it's time to discuss the other offering from this range: the more restrained, two-hand only PAM557 Destro 3 Days which is essentially identical to the famed PAM372 model (reviewed here), but with a lefty crown layout. This time around we really are looking at a rather simple modification: the PAM557 follows the trend set by the chronograph piece as it also shares a lot in common with yet another 2011 novelty, the PAM372 (Luminor 1950 3 Days).
Glashutte Original Senator Sixties Panorama Date Watch
Several years ago,?Glashutte Original released a 1960s inspired watch called the Senator Sixties. It was controversial at the time, and personally I wasn't all that into it. In a nutshell Casio has released a smaller, sleek looking, very capable PRO TREK watch with improved sensors (at a reasonable price). You probably know that Casio PRO TREKs are found on the wrists of people engaged in all manner of outdoor activities, on mountain trails, in deserted places or for everyday activities where risking a very expensive watch is not an option.I have always been interested in compass watches in some form or another due to a?latent?survivalist?mentali

Congratulations to Rok from Slovenia who won last month's watch giveaway. This was the first international reader who got randomly chosen to receive the the giveaway prize. This makes sense as only half of readers are in the US - a truly global readership. Rok opted to win the 2CAN model Sl1536cch Chronotron watch from the selection of 2Can watches that the giveaway sponsor WatchWear had. You can see more details about the 2CAN watch pictured here.I like the neat looking perforated dial and the moving lugs. Rok thinks that the watch fi
Watch What-If Breitling Navitimer
"Watch What-If" is a special column on that asks the playful question "what if an iconic watch you know and love was offered in a different style?" The idea embraces a good timepiece's core design and has fun by offering new colors and material concepts to stimulate your senses. These ideas may be provocative, artistic, or just plain silly. This is about fun, Photoshop, and the celebration of wrist watch design and experimentation. The original design we work off will always be at the bottom of the article. The designs are brought to life by Beau Hudspeth who does the a
