Experience of buying Chronoswiss watches
Although I have a watch Chronoswiss, is not the brand. It is mainly because I do not find Gerd. R. Lang (CEO, Chronoswiss) is a very friendly, based on my own experience (and their threats a few years ago, when I used to run a Chronoswiss forum) and others who have worked with him more closely. In any event, the fact is (imho), that watches nice.
Tutima Glashutte Homage Minute Repeater Watch
The big news is that Tutima just opened up their own movement manufacture they call the Glashutte Factory. To celebrate this they have released the first factory watch. It is the Tutima Glashutte Homage that is not only their first in-house movement, but also a minute repeater. According to Tutima (which is located in Glashutte), it is the only minute repeater watch that has been made and also developed in Glashutte. At first I wasn't of Tutima's claim.? Glashutte Original and A. Lange & Sohne are also located in Glashutte Germany, and should have minute repeaters of their o
James Bond Wears Omega Watch In 007: Blood Stone Video Game
While this is not exactly a surprise, it is pretty neat. James Bond has been wearing an Omega watch for a long time (since maybe 1995). The brand was able to usurp Rolex - as was the watch chosen by Ian Flemming originally. In the upcoming James Bond 007: Blood Stone video game, the digitized version of the Daniel Craig will wear a prominent Omega Seamaster Professional Ref. 22005000 watch. It is part of the Planet Ocean collection and has a retail price of $3,950. I believe that this is the same watch he wore in one of the recent movies. Perhaps Quantum of Solace. The watch is
Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Co-Axial GMT Chronograph Watch
Omega ups the ante with this new Seamater Aqua Terra GMT Chronograph watch. The timepiece is available in either steel or 18k red gold, and on both versions the hands and hour markers on the dial are in 18k gold. Sounds like Rolex territory to me. Not sure if any previous Seamaster Aqua Terra watches had gold (white) in the dials of even steel watches. The vertical line pattern of the dial is meant to look like the deck of a boat (the "Teak Concept"), which explains part of the ritzy character of the watch. The dial will have highly polished features, and you can tell it is nice and de
Linde Werdelin 3-Timer GMT Watch
The Linde Werdelin 2-Timer watch (that I reviewed here) is growing up to be the 3-Timer. The differences are enough shed new light on a watch that had never even lost a sparkle of shine. With the 3-Timer you get a more elegant look with less emphasis on sport, heading into the, ?¡ãthis watch goes with a suit?¡À range. Wearing the 2-Timer with business attire would make you look a bit like a superhero with a secret identity who accidentally forgot to remove one of their outfit components.Linde Werdelin has created a totally new dial with a textured face, with new hour indicators that are s
