Jack Heuer's TAG Heuer Limited Edition Carrera 80 Watch
There is something that watch maker Tag Heuer has which trumps most of its competitors. That thing is the person Mr. Jack Heuer. I sat down with Jack Heuer back in March to discuss his legacy and the debut of the Carrera Jack Heuer 80 Limited Edition watch. The timepiece was released in honor of Jack's 80th birthday as well as his more or less retirement from actively consulting with the brand. Though I have a feeling watch and Tag lovers will spot him around. So what is so special about Jack?In 1958 Jack Heuer joined the family company Heuer as an engineer. Jack is the great grandson
Temption CGK205 Version 2 Watch
German brand Temption is a boutique watch maker that I like to follow. With very few new releases each year, this is one of the ultimate "in the know" brands that won't require your life savings to buy. For 2012 the main new release is a slight update/variation on the long standing CGK range. This one is called the CGK205 Version 2. Why not the CGK206? Probably just not enough new about it to go that far. Hautlence HL2 Watch Prototype
I can already tell that the Hautlence HL2 (HL2.0) watch is going to be one of my favorites of 2011. I learned about the piece sometime ago, and now we have images of an actual prototype. The thing works. Fellow watch lover and watch forum moderator Francois-Xavier Overstake had a wonderful opportunity to view (and play with) a prototype of the upcoming watch from the boutique Swiss brand. The hands-on pictures in this post are his, a link to his article is below. What is this thing? Only the latest and greatest machine that tells the time. Pardon the watch's unfinished stated. Though
December Watch Winner Round-Up
During December 2010 you readers had the chance to win not one, but seven timepieces here on . I usually ask winners to give me images and a review of the watches, but given that there were a lot of winners for December, I thought it would just be nice to do a pictorial post with "wrist shots." One of the winners is missing as I didn't get shots from them yet - but I will include an image of winner of the Magrette Moana Pacific PVD watch winner ASAP. I am really thrilled that everyone is enjoying their new watches.? Congrats again to the winners, thanks again to the spon
