a new Bulgari Daniel Roth technically and aesthetically sophisticated timepiece
At Baselworld 2010, watch connoisseurs were pleased to witness the appearance of a new Bulgari Daniel Roth technically and aesthetically sophisticated timepiece - the Tourbillon Chrono Rattrapante. The split-second chronograph function provided by the movement is shown by two seconds hands in the center: the traditional chronograph hand and the superimposed split-second hand. When you switch on the chronograph push-button, the two hands start moving at once - they are ideally synchronized.
Baume & Mercier Capeland Worldtimer Watch Review
When it comes to watches that have been capturing my attention as of late, it boils down to a single class of complication - second time zones. This is most commonly achieved via a GMT hand, and it works quite well in that manner. Now that I've spent some time with the Baume & Mercier Capeland Worldtimer, however, I can see that there's a lot more functionality that can be had when you want to track more time zones than the one you're currently in.As befits a watch labeling itself as a world timer, this Capeland model allows you to see, time in another time zone. Overall the presentation was much better than you'd find in most sub $300 watches. What is "the agreement?" I will get to that in a second. If you recall, the original Black Belt Watch was (is) made
de GRISOGONO Fuso Quadrato Two Time Zone Watch
From one of the coolest and quirkiest luxury watch makers around, de GRISOGONO, comes the Fuso Quadrato watch for 2009. Aside from the interesting shutter-style complication the watch looks pretty stylish in its 47mm 18k pink or white gold glory. The rounded square case will look good particularly good on the wrist as sometimes harsh geometric angles looks awkward on the organic shapes of our hands. While the watch is clearly from the de GRISOGONO line, it is a very new design direction for the company. Powering the watch is the automatic mechanical de GRISOGONO DF 21-90 movement with
