the new Breitling watch is teamed with Barenia or crocodile leather straps
Endowed with four ultra-powerful "turbo-compound" engines, the Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation is one of the brightest symbols of the sky conquest. It impresses greatly by its dolphin-like curved fuselage and triple-tail design. This propeller-driven long-haul plane dominated civil aviation in the 1950s and earned its fame as the "King of the Atlantic". Offered in a limited edition of 1049 pieces, the new Breitling watch is teamed with Barenia or crocodile leather straps. It can be also accessorized with Navitimer or Air Racer bracelets.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept GMT Tourbillon White Ceramic
In my opinion the now 12-year-old Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept GMT Tourbillon design is still one of the brand's coolest high-end sport watches to date. It mixes haute horology, modern design, and the appeal of a sport watch in a unique way that is difficult to beat. It isn't the ultra luxury watch for everyone, but there is a refined urban sensibility to it that takes it out of the private watch nerd den and into the real world. This particular version of the Royal Oak Concept GMT Tourbillon is new for 2014 and we originally debuted it here.Even though we have already discussed
iPhone App Smart Enough To Read Watch Names
When "Watch Radar" sent me an e-mail about their new iPhone app that is able to detect the name of a watch just by looking at the dial I was intrigued. Until now we've all had to read the name of a brand on a watch dial to know what it is - but no longer. Finally technology has come to the rescue. Using the camera on your iPhone, the Chinese made Watch Radar app takes a picture of the said watch and uses its whiz-bang technology to scan the internet and read the name for you. Wow! It even goes so far as to pull data from the net and give you some brand history. Now this is the future.
Hublot Big Bang Depeche Mode Watch
80s loving Europeans (and well, me too) love Depeche Mode musical entertainment and?Hublot certainly does. Back in 2010, the Swiss brand worked with Depeche Mode to create a limited edition of 12 Big Bang watches each with unique Depeche Mode albums covers (debuted here). Those were sold off for charity. Now three years later in 2013, Hublot once again dances slow with Depeche Mode with a new 250 piece limited edition Big Bang Depeche Mode.Sales of the watches will benefit probably the most PR friendly non-profit charity next to those that save cats and dogs - Charity: Water - that he
Hautlence HL2 Watch Prototype
I can already tell that the Hautlence HL2 (HL2.0) watch is going to be one of my favorites of 2011. I learned about the piece sometime ago, and now we have images of an actual prototype. The thing works. Fellow watch lover and watch forum moderator Francois-Xavier Overstake had a wonderful opportunity to view (and play with) a prototype of the upcoming watch from the boutique Swiss brand. The hands-on pictures in this post are his, a link to his article is below. What is this thing? Only the latest and greatest machine that tells the time. Pardon the watch's unfinished stated. Though
