LUM-TEC V Series V3 Phantom Watch Review
A legible phantom-style watch?! Oh yes - but it is from LUM-TEC so function is expected. The V Series collection from the American brand is an interesting range of watches that have Swiss mechanical movements. I see the angular style case as being inspired by classic Gerald Genta designs such as the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. Only here it has been stretched lengthwise a bit.On the wrist, the V Series watches come to life a lot more than they do alone on a desk. While the steel case is 44mm wide it doesn't wear too large. For those wanting a substantially-sized timepiece that never fee
Reactor Poseidon 1000m Dive Watch
The big daddy watch from Reactor is this Poseidon model - and has been available since last Fall or so. It is available in a standard and limited edition version. Each has style differences, and the Limited Edition Poseidon model contains a? Seiko made Kinetic (automatic rotor spins to charge the battery) quartz movement. There is even an exhibition caseback so that you can see the rotor. Exhibition casebacks on quartz watches are very rare. You can see the limited edition here with orange hues and different hands. I do like the limited edition better. The standard Poseidon model has
Vacheron Constantin M¡§|tiers d?¡¥Art Marc Chagall Paris Opera House Watch
Nice watch, but you can't buy it. No one can. Vacheron Constantin paid a lot of money to make this watch, and they are keeping it for themselves. I guess they enjoy it too much to part with it? Maybe. More likely, the special March Chagall ceiling watch will be on permanent exhibition, traveling around to show off VC's stuff. For the last few years, since 2007, Vacheron Constantin has held a partnership with the l'Opera de Paris (Paris Opera House), and is here making an additional claim on that relationship by reproducing the famous Marc Chagall ceiling from the opera house on a watch dial.
Hautlence HL2 Watch Prototype
I can already tell that the Hautlence HL2 (HL2.0) watch is going to be one of my favorites of 2011. I learned about the piece sometime ago, and now we have images of an actual prototype. The thing works. Fellow watch lover and watch forum moderator Francois-Xavier Overstake had a wonderful opportunity to view (and play with) a prototype of the upcoming watch from the boutique Swiss brand. The hands-on pictures in this post are his, a link to his article is below. What is this thing? Only the latest and greatest machine that tells the time. Pardon the watch's unfinished stated. Though
Menage Of Corum Skull Watches For Halloween
Halloween is my favorite childhood holiday for good reason; it attempts to imbue fantasy with reality for at least one day. And it is perfectly legitimate to do so. That is why I have been tempted on so many occasions to spend hundreds on fancy costumes.Likewise, Corum knows how to imbue a healthy amount of fantasy in their watches and make them perfectly legitimate luxury timepieces. Corum has released a number of interesting and high quality watches (many of them limited editions) over the years. For whatever reason, a large number of them have features a skull and other part
