TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 12 ACM Edition Watch Review
Allow us to take this opportunity to not just review a unique version of the TAG Heuer Monaco, but also to review the collection as a whole. The Monaco is one of TAG Heuer's most famous watch families, sporting a cushion/square case which was originally debuted in 1969 - an important year for watch making, and an important year for Heuer. The Monaco watch gained fame when actor and driver Steven McQueen wore one in the 1970 race movie Le Mans. More recently, the Monaco was very prominently featured in the television show Breaking Bad. Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph Blue Dial Watch
Some people will probably tell you that a "sporty Vacheron Constantin" is an oxymoron. It sort of is, but that hasn't stopped a lot of traditional formal watch makers from producing high-end sport timepieces meant more for casual wear than actual active abuse. But then again I am the type of guy who can pull off most any watch (unless it is too small). So let's check them out in their colorful, pixelated glory. The Romain Jerome Space Invaders watches are part of the Moon Invader collection,

The Eterna KonTiki Diver was to be one of the first new Eterna watches to be officially sold in the US again. The wait was long. Years overdue, literally. We all sat and drooled over the pictures of the unique looking diver watch from Eterna that somehow appeared perfectly designed. I recall thinking to myself, "that watch has everything I think I would want in a diver watch." The legible face, subtle futuristic and confident looks, power reserve, rotating bezel, and sturdy case and construction! The initial price for the Eterna Kontiki that I read about really discouraged me. 10 grand?
