The Yacht Club II is a watch high speed is certainly representative of the 1970s sport watch design, and of course, it has an automatic movement IWC (although the YC brought in quartz too, later). A very cool watch that we see often for sale.Click here for the details of this classic of the Hey-day of luxury sports watches, the 1970s.
MB&F MusicMachine By Reuge: The $13,000 Music Box
Earlier in 2013,?MB&F announced its first non-watch item, the MusicMachine produced in collaboration with the last remaining music box maker in Switzerland, Reuge. Anyone who has been around the watch circuit knows about Reuge because their products often appear at watch trade shows and in some high-end watch stores. Together with Reuge, MB&F released a space-themed music box (without the actual box) that played such classic romantic songs such as the theme from Star Wars (by John Williams) and Smoke on the Water (by Deep Purple). Corum Ti-Bridge Power Reserve Watch
For some reason, all of 2012 went by without us posting a single article on Corum on aBlogtoWatch. I personally covered the brand on other sites such as Departures-International, during that year, but it was all quiet on this front. So here is a piece I should have covered last year but at least I am getting to it now. This is probably the most interesting and useful of Corum's masculine Ti-Bridge collection of watches. Linde Werdelin Oktopus II Moon Watch
Linde Werdelin must be working overtime in preparation for BaselWorld as they have announced a new edition of the Oktopus II, called the Moon. Three years ago, LW launched the Oktopus Moonphase and these new models build upon the same platform but will be limited to just 59 units. Why 59? Two different variations of the new Moon models and our lunar cycle takes a total of 29.5 days to complete. Ariel was able to get some images of the piece when seeing the brand recently so we can show you a hands-on look in addition to Linde Werdelin's pictures.Units one through twelve
MB&F HM3 The Frog Watch
"Ribbit..." Here is the first derivative watch based on the MB&F Horological Machine # 3 (HM3) (which I wrote about here). While MB&F releases about one brand new watch each year, they also have special models based on their standard collection of Horological Machines. This watch will be known as the MB&F HM3 "The Frog." There are two versions of the watch - one in a darker, PVD black coated titanium with a green toned 22k gold automatic rotor (12 pieces), and a titanum version with a blue 22k gold automatic rotor (20 pieces). That is a total of 32 HM3 Frog wa
