ITAnano/iTime Phantom Carbonio Watch Review
It seems as though the name of this watch has changed since I received it. So while it says "iTime" on the dial, the new brand name is ITAnano - which I presume is a combination of Italy and nano-particle. The designer of this piece is the prolific Alessandro Baldieri, who has an eponymous brand as well as a few other sub-brands. iTime and ITAnano are among them. iTime probably had some obvious issues with the name. Not sure if "ITAnano" is much better, but at least it is more distinctive. I imagine iTime might have had some legal issues with it as well - just guessing. Anyhow, the wat
Hublot Watch & Auction For Boxing Legends
I was with Hublot in Las Vegas for a very atypical watch event. A merging of two extremely different worlds coming together for fun, publicity, and the pursuit of mutual goals. The rowdy and often dramatic world of professional boxing has little in common with the clean lines and sober attitudes you'll find in the luxury world. The heroes of watch making are executives, designers, creative minds, and marketers. They celebrate men and women of greatness from afar, and from a public perspective the luxury and watch business has a clean and stately face.Boxing is about fighting and the c
Bertolucci Giro Chronograph Watches Have A Freaky Face
It is entirely possible that my warped mind sees watches differently than other people do. Over the course of my writing about Bertolucci watches, they have always looked interesting, but a bit strange to me. I finally connected a few of the things that some of their common Chronograph models remind of me. Maybe you agree? You can tell that these watches are all part of the same family. Some or all are Bertoluccia Giro (All-Black Giro see here), and some are just called Bertolucci Quartz Chronograph watches. No matter the name, they each have large, gaping mouths. Why? I couldn'
LUM-TEC Lumzilla Watches Are Coming
It is no surprise to any of you that I am a big fan of LUM-TEC watches. A company here in the US with designs and models that just keep getting better. Really dedicated to constant refinement of their line, and continually offering a slew of limited edition models that have a special ability to make our eyes widen with desire. Here are a few shots of the soon to be released Lumzilla line. A big watch with an automatic movement and a lot of personality. The grade 316L stainless steel case is going to be a large 50mm wide and 100 meters water resistant. The crystal on both sides w
Tag Heuer Monaco Mikrograph For Only Watch 2011 Auction
Tag Heuer's piece unique entry into the Only Watch 2011 charity watch auction will be this one-of-a-kind version of their new Mikrograph in a Monaco case. The Mikrograph was a limited edition of 150 pieces, retro looking model with a special 1/100th of a second chronograph movement. Tag Heuer now plays with the design and places the movement in this more futuristic looking case. While this is a one-off watch to be auctioned off, look to elements of this piece for future design directions. See more articles about: Charity InterestsOnly WatchTAG Heuer MonacoWatches & CarsWat
