IWC Aquatimer Automatic Watches For 2014
Many of you already know that IWC watches chose 2014 to be the year of the Aquatimer. That means a revisit and reinvention of their popular dive watch collection with a focus on what has worked in the past while trying to set aside what hasn't been as effective. aBlogtoWatch announced the 2014 Aquatimer collection here, and later offered additional details on the expansive new Aquatimer collection here. The overall collection includes a variety of case sizes, materials, movements and prices. Nevertheless, the cornerstone of a good tool diver is a well-made, affordable, three-hand autom
Dievas Timeattack Chronograph Watch
When I first saw this watch I was trying to determine what it reminded me of. Then I realized the colors on the dial of white, yellow, and orangey red struck me as very Speed Racer. That seemed to make sense for a racing themed watch called the Timeattack Chronograph by Dievas. Made in Germany now with their tougher steel and PVD processes, Dievas makes an assortment of rather handsome, rather price effective timepieces.Much of the watch says "diver." The case is water resistant to 300 meters and even has screw down pushers and a crown. It has a 5mm thick sapphire crystal and a
Corum Ti-Bridge Tourbillon Watch
Corum just sent me shout-out on this new Tourbillon watch that will be released a few days at Basel 2010. Thus, there will be at least two new tourbillon watches from Corum this year - this Ti-Bridge Tourbillon, and the Admiral's Cup Minute Repeater Tourbillon. While I have really only noticed that "Corum key" logo on the Admiral's Cup models, now it shows up on this new Ti-Bridge, as the top of the cage over what appears to be a flying tourbillon. I must admit that it looks pretty cool. The in-house made movement is very thin in the standard horizontal fashion of the timepiece line. T
Tiffany & Co. Mark T-57 Automatic Watch Review: Sport And Formality Mix With Satisfying Results
I must admit that once in a while I'd like for someone to recognize the watch I am wearing. It is not that I place much value on the opinions of others regarding my tastes, but rather that I'd like some recognition once in a while for the hobby that I place so much effort in to. The best way of achieving this is often the simplest approach; wearing well known names. Tiffany & Co. just happens to be one of those names.Be clear that I didn't purchase this watch for the name, but rather for the looks. Though I would be lying if I said that I didn't like the fact that the name of the w
Vittorium AT Watch Winner Follow Up
Your lucky fellow reader who won the Vittorium AT watch has some pleasant follow-up thoughts after receiving the timepiece. I think the piece looks pretty cool. Here is want Jaeson K. had to say:"I received the beautiful watch today upon returning from a weekend business trip. It really is nice. It came packed in a beautiful box surrounded by 4 really cool Vittorium Hats that were black and red. I will be sure to distribute to friends to pass the word. Also included was the very nice note hand signed by the owner of the company. Now for the watch. Perhaps most striking is the stark wh
