Montrek Square Diver PVD Watch Review
Man meet man watch. This isn't a piece your girlfriend or wife can snatch from you and strap on themselves. No sir. This watch is about as masculine as it gets - and whether or not you like how it looks it will be hard to disagree with that conclusion. From Montrek this is the Square Diver PVD watch. Which also implies there is a non PVD black version. Sort of like a Bell & Ross BR01 meets actual warriors as opposed to weekend ones. The Square Diver case is in steel and a 44mm wide square. That is a bit smaller than the 46mm wide BR01. As a diver the case is water resistant
CX Swiss Military Hurricane Watch Review
One of my favorite watches from last year was the CX Swiss Military Watch 20,000 Feet Diver (that I reviewed here). The titanium bubble cased watch was a hit for me, being over the top but totally a tool watch at the same time. While it is a behemoth to wear, it is fun, and well-done. The concept is really cool; your favorite watch makers need to make special unique watches that are then sold to the super elite, and the money goes to charity. The auction is held at the Monaco Yacht show every other year.Charity is nice and all, but for me it is all about the crazy watches they the
Nik Wallenda Takes JeanRichard To New Heights Over Grand Canyon
You no doubt have heard the news (or perhaps even watched the live broadcast) of Nik Wallenda crossing over the Little Colorado River Gorge (near the Grand Canyon), 1500 feet in the air without a tether on June 23, 2013. ?What you may not have caught is the fact he was wearing a watch from JeanRichard as Wallenda is JeanRichard's latest brand ambassador (Ariel had dinner with him and vouches that he is indeed a nice guy). The watch in question that crossed the Canyon was the JeanRichard Terrascope (pictured up top, and reviewed right here). ?At first, it may seem a little odd that someone w
