Techno Master has delivered its new model
Famous for its longstanding ties with the adventurous early days of aviation, Techno Master has delivered its new model, poetically named Lone Eagle. Accurate timekeeping is ensured by a self-winding COSC-certified chronometer movement - Dubois Depraz 3142 calibre. It serves to display hours, minutes and seconds. The additional indications include chronograph with flyback function as well as second time zone.
JeanRichard 1681 Small Second Gold Watch
Most of you by now are familiar with JeanRichard's masculine and rugged looking sport watches such as the Terrascope or Aquascope. Those are pretty cool watches, but JeanRichard is also known for a softer side of more classically styled traditional watches. Currently, most of those exist in the 1681 collection.1681 watches come in round or cushion-style cases as seen here in the 1681 Small Second timepiece. It is actually the same size as the sportier Terracope or Aquascope ranges at a hefty 44mm wide. So if you prefer the sizable diameter of those pieces but want something a bit more
Urwerk UR-210 Watch
I recently discussed Urwerk's brand new UR-210 watch with their interesting new "winding efficiency indicator" complication. The idea of the new complication was to tell you if you were winding the movement enough, or if you needed to be more active. My overall report is that with or without the new complication, this is one cool Urwerk. The last new Urwerk watch before the UR-210 was the UR-110 (which we covered hands-on her
Hublot Antikythera Calibre 2033-CH01 Watch Is A Re-Imagined Greek Masterpiece
One of the things I really appreciate about Hublot is that they don't do everything directly to sell watches. A lot of their events and projects are for charity or to further development in the horological world. Yes, of course, there is a branding element to each of these projects and it gets people write about the brand that might not otherwise cover a wrist watch story, but in the end it makes for a very dynamic Hublot.I recently joined Hublot for the official unveiling of the Antikythera movement that Mathias Buttet worked on making for the last several years. In French they call
Omega Speedmaster Mark 4.5 Watch Giveaway Winner
I was happy to get anote from the winner of the Omega Speedmaster Mark 4.5 vintage watch that I gave away here in January. Looks good for a watch from the 1970s right? Vintage Omega watches have a great tool-watch feel to them and I congratulate the winner. Thanks again to MB&F who sponsored the giveaway. The watch winner preferred to remain anonymous, but did share these thoughts (and also apologized for the photography!):"Thank you so much for the opportunity to win this amazing wrist watch. Getting the watch felt like receiving a Christmas gift from my favorite
