Montblanc TimeWalker TwinFly Chronograph
This new calibre also features two barrels that offer multiple advantages. The reserve power is 72 hours, and twin barrels generate enough power to offset the couple differences that occur when the chronograph function is switched on and outside. This reduces the difference in amplitude compensation that accompanies the activation and deactivation of the chronograph function. The result is a more stable rate in each of the States of operation watchs. The centrally-mounted police minutes and seconds chronograph opens a space on the dial of a supplementary function. When a subdial chronograph reportedly installed a second 24 hours designers display timezone that naturally indicates whether it is day or night in the second time zone. To maintain the symmetry of the dial, seconds continuous are placed on a subdial at 06.
Tag Heuer Monza Automatic Chronograph Calibre 36 Re-Edition Watch
2011 saw both super high-tech and decidedly retro watches from Tag Heuer. The most retro of which was probably this "re-issue" Monza. The Monza came back briefly in 2003 with an updated look using the traditional cushion case. For 2011 original look from the 1930s is back. There is no hiding that this is a retro-themed timepieces. It doesn't attempt to be "classic," by instead to offer a look from times long past, in today's quality and materials. The dial is all 1930s and the case is much more 1970s. According to Tag Heuer the design of the watch draws from both eras. In steel,
Linde Werdelin SpidoLite Family Watches
This new rose gold version of the Linde Werdelin SpidoLite... is DYNA-AMITE! And this DLC version of the super skeletonized case watch is OUTTA-SIGHT! Really, they are pretty cool, and I think took an interesting design to a much more luxurious place. The Original SpidoLite SA watch I reviewed here was more a stealth wealth watch. Interesting, but not showy enough for some people's tastes. The new Linde Werdelin SpidoLite Family watches are a brag worthy line of limited edition watches of the likes I've never seen before. No other company than Linde Werdelin that I know of is so able t
Concord C1 QuantumGravity Movement (And Whatever Upcoming Watch) Annoys Me
My problems with Concord all started with the "revitalization" of the brand a few years ago when the Concord C1 watch line was released. I wrote this article discussing how (and why) I didn't care for the design of the C1. The brand keeps coming out with new watches all based on the C1, some more hideous that others. Then came out the vertically aligned tourbillon watch, and most recently, the tourbillon version of the Concord C1 will be supplemented with this new movement, the C1 QuantumGravity - and I am thoroughly annoyed by it.It is funny, because other watches and watch co
No Tax At Westime Los Angeles Watch Store In April
In the month of April 2010, Westime stores will pay your tax for you. I am pretty sure that legally they need to collect tax, but it is on them. This could mean pretty significant discounts on watches. Especially given the caliber of timepieces that Westime carries. Actually, Westime has a good mix of very high-end and more reasonably luxury watches. They have a ton of brands, some of which are: Richard Mille, A. Lange & Sohne, Bell & Ross, Urwerk, Audemars Piguet, Nubeo, MB&F, Corum, and many more mainstream and hard to find independent brands. Click here to find a list of
