IWC Portuguese Chronograph Classic Watch Review
One of the most modern IWC Portuguese watches actually has the term "Classic" in its name which is a very Swiss way of introducing a new timepiece. 2013 saw the introduction of this Portuguese Chronograph Classic, that added a new "in-house" flavor to the iconic Portuguese collection. It was a quiet launch after SIHH as? 2013 was mostly about the Ingenieur family of watches. Nevertheless IWC is dedicated to expanding not only this successful and historical product family, but also continuing to offer as many pieces with in-house movements as possible. Let's take a close look at it.We
Chopard Classic Racing Jacky Ickx 5th Edition Watch
2011 sees the release of the 5th version of Chopard's Classic Racing Jacky Ickx Edition watches. The former high-profile race car driver who was popular in the 1970s has a long history with timing and watch brands. Chopard is by no means the first brand to honor the driver with timepieces. Few new movements, less tourbillons, and less glam. Instead, we saw more innovation in materials, as well as "keeping it simple." I was also surprised at the number of new brands. Good watches in the $2,000 - $4,000 range were certainly present, but I wanted to see much, much more of them. T
Batman The Dark Knight Rises Limited Edition Jaeger-LeCoultre Watch
For many people, today July 20th, 2012 is another "Batman" day as the latest movie hits theaters. The third Chris Nolan Batman movie opens and brands are eager to capitalize on Bat-fever. In the The Dark Knight Rises Bruce Wayne (played by Christian Bale) wears a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grande Date. I look forward to seeing if that is a noticeable detail. As a purchasable homage to the movie, Jaeger-LeCoultre has released a limited edition version of the Reverso Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931 watch (read more about the base watch here). On the rear of the flippable case is a
