Montblanc Timewalker World Time Hemispheres Watch Review
We wore a new Montblanc Timewalker model for a little while during SIHH, so we thought you should know a little bit about it. There seems to have been a resurgence in world-timer watches these days among many brands. In many ways this is understandable given the increasingly global nature of our world. No longer is the simple GMT adequate anymore. Knowing only two time-zones is so pass¡§| when world-timers offer the possibility of reading off all the time-zones of the world at one glance. Well all of the "normal" timezones. We like to conveniently forget the dozen or so places who deem i
Ochs und Junior Watches
One of my heroes in watchmaking is a man named Ludwig Oechslin. He's the genius behind ultra-complicated watches such as the Ulysse Nardin Trilogy Set, the amazing UN Freak in addition to minimal classics such as the MIH watch. Recently, he the younger Beat Weinmann started a new company, Ochs and Junior (Och und Junior) and their watches are breathtakingly different from anything else out there. Let's take a look, and hopefully you'll see why I'm so excited by them.To start with, Ochs and Junior breaks three of the commandments of Swiss watchmaking: The dials lack all branding
St. Dupont Service Without Fail RAID Watch

The highly secretive special force is interesting because they often recruit people directly from the public, as opposed to existing police or military personnel. The purpose of the group as part of the national police, is to combat and investigate major crimes and terrorism. RAID stands for "Recherche Assistance Intervention Dissuasion." In English, "Research, Assistance, Intervention, Deterrence." They seem to kick enough ass
Star Wars Watches By Marc Ecko Sneak Preview
A deep sense of childish excitement erupted when I laid my eyes on these early renderings of the new Star Wars collection watches by Marc Ecko. The brand and trademark (for Marc Ecko watches) is now owned by the Timex group, who are probably going to do a good job at making Marc Ecko watches look much nicer. I have not always been a fan of the brand's offerings, see this article of mine here. Actually come to think of it, I don't see at all how a Star Wars themed watch fits into the Marc Ecko style at all, though I am perhaps missing something the designer did in the past. Regardless,
