The new color in the collection of watches of Hermes Cape Cod
For the ladies, it is the new color in the collection of watches of Hermes Cape Cod . The "Malta blue" proposes a blue tonic veal of Hermes with gray stitching leather bracelet and more blue on the dial used for the outline of the signature art deco time count.
Armin Strom Gravity Fire Watch
Armin Strom offers a unique flavor of independent watch making with contemporary designs and in-house made movements. Several years ago they debuted their first in-house made movement and have since built upon it. Before that time the movements they used, while not strictly made in-house, were often highly customized with skeletonization work or modules that added functionality.Armin Strom has set a stride over the last few years with a core theme that seems to work for them. I use the term "contemporary" to describe their timepieces because while they are modern, they aren't futurist
Auction Watch: Antiquorum's ONLY WATCH 2011 Is Almost Here
The following timepiece auction analysis post is by Chris Meisenzahl. He is a long-time watch enthusiast and daily Speedmaster Pro wearer. He blogs at The Pretense of Knowledge and can be followed on Twitter at http://twitter/speedmaster.It's just about that time again, for the 2011 Only Watch Auction. Oris Artix Complication Watch
Oris continues their classy "Complication" watch collection with the Artix. Easy on the eyes, and available with a six-link steel metal bracelet or leather strap. It is a graceful creation, and offers a decent mechanical annual calendar watch (with a symmetrical dial layout) at a reasonable price. With more and more watches like this coming out, I wonder what Oris' new direction in the States is going to be. I say this because Swiss Oris recently fully took over the US division. So we will just wait and see.The Artix Complication looks like it uses a stripped down ETA Valjoux 775 auto

I recap my review of the lovely Ulysse Nardin Freak Diavolo, and my article on Dubois-Depraz that eventually got me in trouble.Listen to the HourTime Show watch podcast episode 84 here.Download the MP3.
