Blancpain Carrousel Minute Repeater Chronograph: First Watch With All Three Complications Together
Being the "brand of the carrousel," Blancpain's use of this close cousin to the tourbillon must someday find its way into anything they produce. Then again, they did recently produce the Carrousel Tourbillon watch (aBlogtoWatch hands-on) that featured both complications in order to help distinguish them. Now, with the new Blancpain Carrousel Minute Repeater Chronograph, we see for the first time all three of the named complications together in one watch.Having built a solid foundation with the carrousel, first seen in the Blancpain Carrousel Volant Une Minute in 2008, and being no str
ITAnano/iTime Phantom Carbonio Watch Review
It seems as though the name of this watch has changed since I received it. So while it says "iTime" on the dial, the new brand name is ITAnano - which I presume is a combination of Italy and nano-particle. The designer of this piece is the prolific Alessandro Baldieri, who has an eponymous brand as well as a few other sub-brands. iTime and ITAnano are among them. iTime probably had some obvious issues with the name. Not to mention quite unique.CX Swiss Military watches tend to be hit and miss for me, but I am usually impressed by their limited edition models. These are often much more interesting than their standard collection, and feature a lot more design and attention by CX. The newest limited edition watch that
Storm Chrono Terrain Watch Review
Storm is probably going to do pretty well with this watch. It isn't very expensive, and it has a cool action-hero style look that will appeal to the masses. I personally was gravitated to it when I first learned of it, and a boyish sense of "I want to put that on" came over me when I saw the angular looking case and second, smaller watch dial that was part of the strap. The look isn't exactly sophisticated, but has a certain unpolished charm to it. It is also a limited edition (of 3000 pieces) - which is a sort of an interesting fact and part of the appeal for some. The case is in ste
