The Ferragamo highly-acclaimed Seven Seas line is joined by the new Blue Marlin collection
The Ferragamo highly-acclaimed Seven Seas line is joined by the new Blue Marlin collection. The timepieces from the collection are characterized by pure, clean-cut lines. The new collection comprises three timepieces that offer a choice between a black, silvered or blue dial completed with luminescent hands and hour-markers to provide supreme legibility under any light conditions. The dial is framed by a bidirectional rotating bezel in steel, black PVD or blue PVD-coated. The bezel features a scale for the second time-zone function.
MB&F LM101 Watch Is Entry Level Legacy Machine:
The third MB&F Legacy Machine timepiece is this LM101 model, which represents not only a smaller case size but also a new and more "affordable" price. Let's be clear, MB&F watches have been, and will continue to be high-end luxury products, but the new Legacy Machine 101 comes in with a new accessible price that is over $30,000 less than the LM1, and over $100,000 less than the LM2. Chopard L.U.C XPS Poin?on de Gen¡§¡§ve Watch Has Personality
When you create a limited edition watch of just 25 pieces in platinum you are basically creating a perfect "my timepiece is still cooler than yours" watch. Chopard's L.U.C XPS is a simple dress watch, but it is one of my favs, and in addition to having a sexy design it has a lot of horological bragging rights. Then again, they did recently produce the Carrousel Tourbillon watch (aBlogtoWatch hands-on) that featured both complications in order to help distinguish them. Now, with the new Blancpain Carrousel Minute Repeater Chronograph, we see for the first time all three of the named complications together in one watch.Having built a solid foundation with the carrousel, first seen in the Blancpain Carrousel Volant Une Minute in 2008, and being no str
Book Review: Masters Of Contemporary Watch Making
I don't read a lot of books on watches. There sure are enough of them out there. Large, pretty coffee table books designed to be skimmed through while sitting in a large easy chair listening listening to background jazz and perhaps enjoying a scotch. These luxo-tomes are meant for high-end collectors, and priced as such. That doesn't mean they are well written. Most of them list facts, but the best of them are actually worth a read. This is one of them. It also helps that it looks nice and have gorgeously printed images. Images that put even the best computer images to shame. I kid you
