Harry Winston Opus 12 Watch
Looking forward to the next Harry Winston Opus watch is becoming an annual tradition. For 2012 Harry Winston releases the new Opus 12 watch which was made in collaboration with watch maker Emmanuel Bouchet. You can check out coverage of last year's extremely popular Opus XI model here. At a glance the Opus 12 is a rather conservative model being in a round case, but checking out the dial more carefully reveals just how complex this watch is.Bouchet is a seasoned watch maker but actually some one that I had not heard of before I interviewed him about the Opus 12. Five Things I Want To See From The Watch Industry In 2011
While people struggled to make lists of what their favorite pieces of 2010 were, I started thinking about the future. Sure, 2010 saw its share of really great pieces, but I think there is a lot we can look forward to. For me, I think 2010 did a great job at offering pretty good sub $10,000 watches. A one of a kind creation by Yvan Arpa's Artya brand, this watch belongs to the "Coup de foudre" collection which is an ongoing series of watches that have "lightning struck" cases - hence the "Tesla" part of the name. Basically, Yvan's shop employs the use of a large Tesla coil array. Electricity (which is basically lightning) travels
Nubeo Black Mamba Kobe Bryant Watches In The Flesh
Here are four models from the new Nubeo Black Mamba watch collection that have been made in partnership with Kobe Bryant. There are a few fantastic styles in this collection, and here are four versions that I have been fortunate enough to check out and share with you. The three styles here are the basic Black Mamba (chapter ring with hour and minute markers), the Black Mamba Ultimate (black sapphires on the chapter ring on the outer dial and Arabic numerals on the bezel), and the Black Mamba MVP (black or whiskey sapphires on the bezel and the dial chapter ring).Last I h
