The 1878 Original Special Edition Moritz Grossmann Glashutte Watch makes tribute to the founding father of the watchmaking of Glashutte by German watchmaking school was founded on May 1, 1878.A real tribute to the Pocket historical Glashutte watches, whose initiative the Moritz Grossmann 1878 timepiece is presented in a case of 40 mm 18 K pink or white gold. Visible through a curved Sapphire, is a dial which was silver in the traditional technique of "seed of largenture", by which a mixture of powdered silver and water are meticulously applied to a surface of blasted brass.

The mechanism breathes life into functions, presented on a black opalin dial. It features a black internal flange, marked with a tachymeter scale printed in white. The dial is equipped with 8 lume-applied trapezoid indexes. The central hours and minutes are indicated by skeletonized, polished and rhodium-plated "Dauphine" hands. Set within the dial of the new Hublot watch are also two wave-patterned 30-minute and 60-second counters, located at 3 and 9 o'clock respectively. The sub-dials are fitted with "Glaive" red hands.
