This U-Boat Seamaster comes with a bevy of features. It has an adjustable clasp band, made from the finest stainless steel. The watch face and hands are all hand placed, for the accurate timing the Swiss are famous for. The dial window is made of reinforced glass, and has an anti-reflective coating. Since this was made for boaters, it also has a level of water resistance.

As I write this review I am actually freshly back from a visit of the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture in Le Sentier, Switzerland. In the watch industry the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture is considered a special place because it is a serious factory where both cases and movements are made - which is a rare combo. I got to see a lot of Reverso cases being produced and realized just how complex they are to manufacture. A simple case requires dozens of steps that involve both hand and machine work. The efforts are necessary to achieve the right shape, polish, and of course unique case flipping

One of the best surprises at SIHH 2011 was how much I enjoyed the A. Lange & Sohne Richard Lange Tourbillon "Pour le Merite." The regulator style watch took influence from a pocket watch made in the Dresden area a while back. It had three overlapping subdials, with one for the hours,? minutes, and seconds. Bell & Ross BR03 Watch On Metal Bracelet Sighted
It finally happened, Bell & Ross is giving everyone's favorite square watch a metal bracelet. Actually, let me clarify. They are testing it out on the BR03 watch models. Seen here is one of the first of these types... maybe the first ever in a retail store. It is the BR03-92 watch with the new style metal bracelet that you can now get in addition to the rubber or other straps available with this watch line.Bell & Ross does not currently have any plans to give the larger BR01 (46mm wide) watches a bracelet at this time.
