Omega Speedmaster X-33 Skywalker Watch
This is the new Omega X-33 that we have been waiting for. Our hands-on time with the 2014 Omega Speedmaster X-33 Skywalker ref. 318.90.45.79.01.001 proves that this is the real heir to the cult favorite Omega X-33 aviation/aerospace watch of the 1990s. What about the Omega Speedmaster Z-33 (hands-on review here)? That is a good question...When Omega released the Speedmaster Z-33 in 2012, it was to be the follow-up to the acclaimed X-33 watch, which took the Speedmaster to a new futuristic place in the 1990s. Developed with support and specifications from astronauts, the Speedmaster X-
Victorinox Swiss Army Chrono Classic 1/100th Watch
The most interesting new watch from Victorinox Swiss Army for 2013 is the Chrono Classic 1/100th. A uniquely designed timepiece, this chronograph is meant to be a high-function quartz watch for those seeking a new type of design concept. Brands such as TAG Heuer have presented similar offerings in the past - with timepieces that have chronograph complications which are less than obviously displayed on the dial. In a nutshell, what the Swiss Army Chrono Classic 1/100th watch offers is a unique dial with a big date, as well as a 1/100th of a second chronograph complication that re-purpos

Girard-Perregaux was once quite strong in sport watches, but seemed to focus more on classic-style watches the last few years. A new emphasis on Western markets such as Europe and the US has led them to once again focus on sport watches, which have typically been great with their name on it. With collections such as the famed Laureato no longer being made, the "Hawk" watches will be the bran
Glashutte Original Senator Perpetual Calendar Watch
Another Glashutte Original watch that I was more than happy to play with this year was the new version of the Senator Perpetual Calendar watch. The movement inside the watch nor the name of this timepiece is new - but the new piece is a real gem. For 2011 the size of the watch as well as the design have been tweaked. For some reason GO didn't actually make the width easy to find, but as you can see on my wrist it is larger than some of its predecessors that were about 40mm wide. At least I think so or this would be a real trick on the eyes type of timepiece. The Glashutte
