This U-Boat Seamaster comes with a bevy of features
This U-Boat Seamaster comes with a bevy of features. It has an adjustable clasp band, made from the finest stainless steel. The watch face and hands are all hand placed, for the accurate timing the Swiss are famous for. The dial window is made of reinforced glass, and has an anti-reflective coating. Since this was made for boaters, it also has a level of water resistance.
RSW Outland 3H Watch Review
RSW is a brand I very much like. What makes me like it more is that most people? (even hardcore watch lovers) in the US have never heard of it. It isn't that RSW isn't distributed in the US, just that it isn't distributed that much. RSW stands for "Rama Swiss Watch." I have discussed them before, just not very recently. One of the things that makes the brand different is that they have an in-house designer. This isn't actually all that common, as many many brands have in-house brand directional people. but design is largely outsourced to specialized watch designer firms. But I digress.
Orbita Sparta 1 Tesla Watch Winder Review
My journey through the interesting (and necessary) world of watch winders continues. Here is another impressive and relatively reasonably priced watch winder from American based Orbita. By the way, please be sure to enter to win a similar Orbita watch winder of your own during the rest of January 2010 here. If you are reading this and the giveaway has ended, you should still take a good look at Orbita for your watch winder needs, and this Sparta 1 Tesla is a solid option. For the novices out there, recall that watch winders are a convenient companion for automatic watches - but have n
Linde Werdelin The Lab Watch Maker Blog Exemplar
Watch companies are getting keen on blogging. Maybe I have shown them a good example? Different watch brands are experimenting with various ways of doing it, but the best approach is something like Linde Werdelin has done. Sure they could have more posts up and spend more time on it, but they are doing a good job so far with their new blog that details not only the development of Linde Werdelin watches, but the lifestyle that goes with Linde Werdelin watches from the maker and owner standpoint. From your seat you generally only see the "finished product" and the fancy marketing photos
Sarpaneva Korona K0 Ruler Of Water Watch
After some re-visioning and rebuilding, Finnish watch maker Sarpaneva has completed their dive watch that will be known as the Korona K0 "Ruler of Water." I saw the prototypes of the K0 a year earlier in 2011 and the final versions are nicer looking and more distinct. Those who recall the 2011 version will notice the lack of screws on the bezel, updated dial, and movement of the crown to the 4 o'clock position.Sarpaneva will release three versions of the Korona K0 to start. The cases will be all steel, with some DLC black/gray application options on the case and dial, and of course th
