GIVEAWAY UNIQ P-47 Chronograph Watch
Not all affordable timepieces need to be mainstream and mass-produced. For those who prefer a Swiss quartz chronograph watch that is well designed we present the P-47 by Georgia-based (the country) UNIQ. The watch is inspired by the P-47 Thunderbolt airplane and the dial of the watch is clearly instrument panel-inspired. It has a 47mm wide steel case and dial that is available in several colors including black, blue, and military green. The legible dial has some attractive details and we like the legible SuperLumiNova coated hands and hour markers. Over the dial is an AR coated sapphir
Seiko Shinji Hattori Special Model Limited Edition Watch For Japan
Seiko once again teases the world with another Japan-only, high-end watch that they released over the summer (June) in Japan as a very small limited edition. This is a pretty lovely model and is a rare glimpse into Seiko corporate culture as well as humor. It is also very "Japanese" with elements that have double meanings and with the beach theme that is meant to honor the shores of Shonan, which is located in central Japan along the coast. Called the "SH Special Model" (ref. SCQE001), this timepiece is really celebrating several things about the brand at once. We think you'll like it.

While the SBDC 001/003/005 are based around stainless steel construction, the SBDC007 utilizes hardened titanium, which Seiko calls Dia-Sheild. The SBDC007 also use
Arcadia AC01 Watches
Back in 2010 I wrote about the revival of watch brand Arcadia here. I focused on their unique model called the AC01. This year they have released (among other things) a new AC01 called the Version 2. Both AC01 versions 1 and 2 are going to be discussed in this article. The watches feature the same case and movement, but have different dials and case finishes. There are also distinct strap options.Earlier this year I sat down with Richard Baldwin, the CEO of Arcadia and a true watch lover. We discussed the brand, and a bit about what is involved in bringing a new high-end watch to mark
