How Can I Work In Watch Repair Or Become A Watchmaker? - Ask Watch Experts Questions About Watches
Mike H. from New Jersey, USA asks: I am an avid watch enthusiast with a great job that affords me a lot of time off each month. I am looking to work in a watch store and learn how to repair and sell time pieces. what is the best to break into the watch world and become a respected watch repairer/broker/etc.? And thank you for the survey it has lead to me several more excellent watch sites just like yours, keep up the good work. There are a lot of ways to “break in to” the watch industry, but it sounds like what you want to do is actually work on watches. Hamilton Pan Europ Watch
In 2011 when the original [new] Hamilton Pan Europ watch was released, it was also the debut of the H-31 movement which was an exclusive for Hamilton by sister company ETA (both are under the Swatch Group umbrella). Based on a historic Hamilton watch design from 1971, the 2011 Pan Europ features a lovely blue dial and was limited to just 1,971 pieces.Aside from a cheap looking faux-alligator strap, the Pan Europ was a big sales success. Hamilton decided to release some new versions of the Pan Europ for 2012, and they even made our Baselworld 2012 top 10 watch list. Like many pieces, c

Bronze is not an ideal material for cases as it begins to oxidize quickly. Sure you can polish it, but most people who own bronze watches seem to love how each of
Orient M-Force SEL03001D Diver Watch Review
One of my favorite divers in my collection is an Orient CFD0C001B Saturation Diver. I reviewed it here. While it has quirks, the big beefy diver has a great look with a useful dial and a fantastically adjustable bracelet. I still love wearing it today. As far as I know it is one of Orient's most expensive watches and certainly at the top of their diver collection. This M-Force Diver model is more modern, but considered a mid-range model between the more pricey Saturation Diver and Orient's lower-end offerings. It is further accompanied by a similar watch called the Orient Revolver dive
