Marvin Malton Cushion Watch Winner Follow-Up Review
Thanks to Victor M. of Raleigh, North Carolina for this thorough follow-up review of a Marvin Malton Cushion watch he was the lucky winner of during the September 2012 monthly watch giveaway. The giveaway specified an M119 watch, but it looks like he was able to get an M120 Limited Edition model instead (similar but with different dial). Check out his details reviews below:I recently received the Marvin M120 Limited Edition watch, having won the contest held by our host here at , Mr. Ariel Adams.A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE MARVIN MALTON CUSHION COLLECTION
F.P. Journe Octa Sport Watch
F.P. Journe is really pushing aluminum as its sport watch material of course. I've written in the past about not understanding why they would choose aluminum, which is a soft and easily dented metal for a super high-end luxury watch. It is very light, and I guess they like the quirk. Titanium has really usurped most aluminum use, but I think aluminum is still technically a bit lighter (just not stronger). The watch is just 53 grams in weight. According to F.P. Journe they used "high technology aluminum" (which is apparently the same used in Aeronautics). So like fragile race cars F.P.
Bulgari's Bold Move To Integrate With Daniel Roth & Gerald Genta
The pursuit continued of life in the house of troubled luxury brand has a method. Bulgari has recently announced news that should be considered uncommon at the least. In a strange move that I would have never predicted, the Bulgari brand actually eats two other brands that it already owns. The result will be a unified brand in image and manufacture, such that each watch coming from the super brand will have the name "Bvlgari" (Bulgari" as I care to say it) on each watch that is released. A hint in the form of an image depicts a potential result of this "new way" where Bvlgari is seen as the
Red8 Watch Review
While the Asians are taking steam away from the Europeans when it comes to manufacturing watches, the power houses of design and style remains in the West. True style innovation and experimentation on the most unique levels perseveres in the talents of those people who first made the watch industry what it is today. Still, it is impossible to view the modern watch making world without seeing the East, and those who physically make most of the watches, or at least parts of the watches that we buy.A new watch from a new company called Red8 celebrates this concept. The idea comes from a
Concord C1 Radar Watch
I finally figured out who this watch is good for! The Scarecrow. On good days it can be the Wizard of Oz scarecrow, on bad days, the one from Batman. Why that character? Well the "technofabric" strap of the watch just seems to match the burlap sack... mask that the scarecrow wears. Why is this lately iteration of the Concord C1 called the Radar? Your guess it as good as mine, but this is one of Concord's most noble attempts at making the C1 design work.See my full article on the Concord C1 Radar watch here at Haute Living.Best MatchItems Ending FirstNewly-L
