I can't pronounce the name of the Chief, the name of the restaurant, or even to the city of Norway, but what I know is that I covet the party quarter of the price. Why Aren't Watch Companies Suing Each Other For Copyright Infringement All Day Long? - Ask Watch Experts Questions About Watches
James M. from Halifax, Nova Soctia, Canada asks: How litigious are watch companies? I am thinking of the Invicta that looks like a Submariner or the Swiss Legend that looks like an Audemars Piguet, and so on and so forth. Does Rolex or Audemars Piguet just consider them "homages" and leave them alone? Do they think these companies cross the line and sue? Is there a system companies like Invicta use so they don't get sued such as just changing a look slightly? Can the sue?I ask these questions because I see so many established companies borrowing designs but I never hear of them being sued.

The brand has recently focused a lot on formal and sport so I should have expected a good diver, however, I never saw these coming. The Seacraft collection is interesting and appealing though parts of the designs seem to be influenced from elsewhere. My biggest question is how much Perrelet paid SeaCraft boats to use the name? Personally, I don't think about boats when I hear the name, I actually think about Star Craft. There are three watches in the Seacraft collection and each comes with three different dial c
Customizable Jaquet Droz Les Douze Villes 12 Timezone Collection Watches + Video
This new watch collection from Jaquet Droz simply epitomizes simplistic operation. They are careful not to call it a world time because it only houses 12 time zones, though the buyer can specify what 12 sequential timezones they will be (and Jaquet Droz will presumably indicate appropriate reference cities for the time zone disc). Looking at the watch you see but three functional pieces of information on the dial: an jumping hour window, and minute hand, and a window with the a city name. And really that is all you need. Pressing the pusher at 2 o'clock cycles through the timezo
