keeping capabilities of the regular Alain Silberstein watches
For those of you who don't remember, it featured all of the amazing time keeping capabilities of the regular Alain Silberstein watches, with an added feature. It had a tiny calculator complete with miniature keypad built into the watch. During its hey day it was the bane of math teachers everywhere and the savior of every math deficient student.
Swiss Army Dive Master 500 Watches For 2012
I've always really liked the Swiss Army Dive Master collection of watches. Over the last few years the brand has released a range of these models in both quartz and mechanical form. I personally reviewed a Swiss Army Dive Master 500 watch here. For 2012, Swiss Army has "re-launched" the Dive Master 500. Nothing radically new, but the cool watch remains... cool. Most people seeing the new Dive Master 500 versions will first notice the quartz models with the new dials. The sword-shaped hands have been replaced with a fat arrow hand and a baton style hand. There are also new hour markers
Perrelet Turbine XL Watch Review
If it is fun and you play with, then it is a toy right? call the novel spinning turbine style disc in this watch what you like - but this is a man's toy of the highest caliber. Does being akin to a toy degrade the feeling of luxury and high-end prestige that Perrelet is going for? No. At least I don't think so. Wealthy guys who stand around with nice watches talking about cars and boats are often looked at by their female companions who simply sigh and say "men and their toys." Most of the high-end stuff we like are actually toys. You know that ultra fast super car you've been eying si
Million Dollar Baby: Hands On With the Ulysse Nardin Royal Blue Tourbillon Watch
At a certain point wealth becomes a mere number. Is there a huge different between a person worth 5 billion or 10 billion dollars? To them yes, but in the scheme of things perhaps not. Once you exceed a certain numerical limit, the figures all blend together like impressionist art ?a you know what you are looking at but the fine details are less important.Wearing the Ulysse Nardin Royal Blue Tourbillon, I forget the numbers behind the name. It is a wildly expensive timepiece that is so far out of most people?¡¥s reach ?a the price no longer matters. Diamonds and sapphires cover the 950 pl
Van Barnett Time Machine Knife
This knife doesn't tell the time but it sure looks like it should. American artist and knife maker Van Barnett calls this steampunk style creation the Time Machine. It is a collectible hand-made knife with a lot of old-timey futuristic personality. Barnett incorporates watch parts into the beautifully cool folding knife creation - which are more or less sold out for years and made individually by him (often with meaningful personalizations for each buyer, according to his website). He makes only a four of these per year and is so sold out far enough that he isn't taking new orders.
