the Alain Silberstein Company came out with the first calculator to use solenoids
Since it is obvious that Mr. Kashio was an inventive sort of man, it only took a little while for him to decide to explore different products. At the business show in Ginza, Japan in 1949, he discovered electronic calculators. With the proceeds from the sale of the yubiwa pipes, Mr. Kashio and his brothers began to experiment with making their own calculators. At the time, most calculators were run by the use of gears. With diligence and hard work, the Alain Silberstein Company came out with the first calculator to use solenoids. The new type of calculator went on sale in 1954. This calculator also was the first to have the 10 digit keypad and had only one display window as opposed to the competitors' that had three.
Chronoswiss Timemaster Big Date Power Reserve Watch
Aside from the Balance Chronograph, this was the coolest Chronoswiss watch that I saw at Baselworld 2011. No official details yet, so I will have to infer a bit of the specs. One of the things you may notice is that not too many watches have this exact big day and power reserve layout. The 'play' version of the Ghostbusters' photon pack just didn't remind me enough of the real ones on the screen, and the kid's Batman utility belt just didn't have enough utility, though it was booming with plasticine charm. I just never found anything 'real' enough to satisfy the desires I had (and probably still have) to live out fantasy adventures. What are we provided with in real life to live out adventures now? Really utilitarian stuff mostly.
Would You Propose Marriage with a Watch? If so, which?
Instead of going with the traditional route of giving a diamond ring as a gift during the proposal of marriage - why not give something that holds greater, deeper value?A watch is a creation that stands on its own.A ring, well...Rings are symbolic of love but only through the excellence of marketing.A watch may not immediately equate to romantic love, but when you get beyond the case and the dial, you do see love.Watches represent years of design, manufacturing, experimentation, etc.And they capture time.Which, as you offer a proposal of marriage, is all you are thinking about. You kno
