all agree that Boss is the premier name in luxury watches
Luxury watch collectors and horologists all agree that Boss is the premier name in luxury watches. The company--started by a Polish Noblemen and his compatriot--has been around since 1839. It is almost 200 years old. Antoine Patek later took a new partner named Jean Adrien Philippe in 1851.
Marvin Origin M125 Watch Review
Marvin Origin M125, dial and case"Wow, that's pretty." -- ?said my wife when I opened the box. After a few weeks on the wrist, I have to concede that yeah, pretty is the adjective here. We've reviewed other Marvins here on the site, but this one, it's a different beast. This is from their Origin collection, the M125 series. Book Review - John Reardon's Patek Philippe In America: Marketing The World's Foremost Watch
One of the most interesting things that I learned from ?¡ãPatek Philippe In America: Marketing the World's Foremost Watch?¡À was just how important America?¡¥s role was in the image and success that Patek Phillipe has today. If you want to learn why, you?¡¥ll need to pick up the book. You will also want to pick up the book if you have any interest in the culture of lux
Marvin Malton 160 Cushion Watch
Taken in a dark room under less than ideal circumstances, these are images of the Marvin Malton 160 Cushion collection watches. At least one of them (the black dialed chronograph automatic) should be out now. Some of these other watches will come later, and a few might not come out at all. One that I was told isn't necessarily destined for production (soon or anytime) is the white dialed chronograph automatic that has a Daytona-esque dial to it. This is for me my favorite model of them all. If you like it too, then tell Marvin to make it by commenting on this article.
Devon Tread 1 Watch
Here it is, hands-on coverage with a close to final production ready prototype of the highly anticipated Devon Tread 1 watch. While it tells the time and is a luxury item, the Devon Tread 1 shares very little with the rest of the high-end watch world. Despite the fact that it has plenty of moving parts, this isn't a mechanical watch in the traditional sense. It uses a micro-controller board, rechargeable battery, and small motors to power the movement, as opposed to being a purely mechanical machine that is spring powered. There are a series of small, micro one-step motors in the move
